We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which djinjamandjali was developed and will be delivered and pay our respect to Elders past and present. We pay our respects and recognise the enduring cultural knowledge, leadership and wisdom of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of today and those who came before us who fought for the continuation of culture to ensure that our connection to Country, culture, community and spirit are essential foundations of our society, wellbeing and healing. We wish to acknowledge the determination of local Elders and community members who have tirelessly repatriated and revitalised dhurga and continue the work to ensure its survival.
