Youth and Community Programs + Camps
We want to offer young people the opportunities to learn from each other, stand strong within their culture and themselves, support their family and friends and become empowered to use their voice to enact change. Our youth programs and camps have been designed to be delivered within the education context with direct links to the curriculum as well as outside of the school environment because we understand that sometimes young people are more comfortable on-country.
We believe strongly that when Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal kids and teenagers learn together side by side, negative cycles of racism and stereotypes can be broken and stronger communities can be built.
If you’re a teacher, Youth worker or organisation who works towards empowering children or young people and are looking for an immersive experience to take them on, see what we offer below and reach out to see what we can provide.
We are more than happy to tailor a program or camp to suit your context and needs as well. We want to empower people of all ages. So, if you’re looking for something a little different, reach out and we’ll do what we can to create something special for you.
Our Programs + Camps
Cultural Youth Program
Young Activist Program
Our cultural youth program has been developed to target upper Primary and High School aged students and is designed to align with the Australian curriculum. It is a 9 week program, one day a week. Each week we will talk about the importance of culture through cultural connection, cultural identity, cultural knowledge, song and dance. This program aims to connect Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal students through a shared learning experience, with the hope of creating a strong unified future for our community.
