Community Events
and Activism

Raising awareness through positive means of culture, art, music, food, protest and connection is something we are extremely passionate about. djinjamandjali will continue previous community-led events and activism on brindja-yuin and walbunja country by organising and building movement around First Nations justice and solidarity, climate action, food sovereignty and more.

As part of our volunteer-led and grassroots collective, ‘Connecting Communities’ we ran dhari-nj bulwal ‘we stand strong’ on January 26 in 2025 in Moruya and will continue to run this event annually to bring unity, truth telling and healing to this divisive day.

We have also run a sunrise ceremony on ANZAC Day to acknowledge Blak ANZACS, the frontier wars and genocide that happened on these soils. These will continue in the future as well.

Keep your eyes peeled for bridge walks, film nights, music events and opportunities to connect, show up and stand up for things that matter.

Stand strong with us.
